Barnett Chair Banner

In partnership with his late wife Kathleen Dr. Henry Barnett has consistently demonstrated an energy, commitment and generosity of spirit that improved the quality of life for countless individuals. A skilled neurologist, dedicated researcher and superior leader, Dr. Barnett is truly the embodiment of a physician scholar.

In honour of Dr. Barnett’s significant contributions to the improvement of human health, Robarts Research Institute aims to raise a minimum of $5 Million in private funding to establish the Kathleen & Dr. Henry Barnett Chair in Stroke Research.  Once established, the Barnett Chair will work with the best minds at Robarts, boost the Institute’s distinctive research strengths and contribute to advances in the prevention and treatment of stroke.

You are invited to a special event to enjoy the company of our dear friend “Barney”, celebrate his many accomplishments and receive an update on the work underway to establish the Barnett Chair.

Dr. Michael J. Strong, Dean, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, and Mrs. Wendy Strong cordially invites you and a guest to join in celebration with Dr. Henry “Barney” Barnett for the Kathleen and Dr. Henry Barnett Chair in Stroke Research
