Hungry for Change Gala 2016

The 2016 Hungry for Change Gala is a semiformal event that raises money for global health electives. This year’s theme is Innovations in Health Access, and the evening will feature speeches by Dr. Loubani and Dr. MacDougall about their global health projects, as well as poster presentations by students who have done medical electives abroad. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for generous hor d’oeuvres, a cash bar and live music. Throughout the evening there will be a silent auction and a photo auction. (Auction payment by cash, cheque or credit card online). Where are the proceeds going?Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards the Global Health Funding Committee, which funds scholarships that help medical students who go to resource-poor regions for clinical electives.
