So You Think You're Female? Sex Testing and the Olympic Games

Sport organizations throughout the world, from the International Olympic Committee to high schools, are implementing policies to determine if female athletes are actually female. Why? What purpose do they serve? Janice Forsyth, former Director of Western’s International Centre for Olympic Studies, explores what those policies mean for female athletes and how they negatively impact their overall health.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The lecture will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Please register online by Friday, April 1, 2015.
