Celebrate Founder's Day at a networking reception at The Carleton, an 18th century parlor that has hosted historical British Royal Navy figures including Admirals Cook and Nelson, as well as British General Wolfe

Alumni will enjoy complimentary appetizers and refreshments. Don't miss this opportunity to meet fellow Western alumni and friends in the greater Halifax area who have shared the Western Experience.

There is no fee to attend, but please register by Tuesday, March 8, 2015.

Founder’s Day is celebrated each year by the Western community on March 7 - the anniversary of the University’s founding in 1878.

It is a time for alumni, students, faculty and staff - wherever they are around the world - to reconnect and share in a celebration of everything #purpleandproud.
