Western Alumni Serves: Second Harvest Holiday Food Sort

Help to make sure that hungry people across Toronto have good food to eat this upcoming holiday season.

Join fellow Western alumni at the Second Harvest warehouse to help prepare food for delivery to a network of more than 200 social service agencies across the city. The volunteer shift will last from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

You will receive a Western Alumni Serves t-shirt as well as as a short orientation and tour of the warehouse prior to beginning the food sort. Please note that all volunteers are required to wear closed toe/heeled shoes and are advised to dress comfortably in order to participate. Children must be a minimum of 10 years old and must accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Registration is $16 per person, which will go directly to Second Harvest to help cover the cost of food sorted that day.

Space is very limited, so please register early.
