Evening Concert Headliner: Our Lady Peace
Consisting of Raine Maida, Western alumnus Duncan Coutts and Steve Mazur, Our Lady Peace is one of the most successful bands in Canada today. The band has sold more than 5 million albums worldwide, won four JUNO Awards and 10 Much Music Video Awards – one of the most MMVAs ever awarded to any artist or group. The band’s latest album “Curve” debuted in the Top 10 of Canada’s national album sales chart.

Sloan
Over the course of 10 albums and more than 30 singles – not to mention multiple EPs, hits and rarities collections, live albums and official bootlegs released – the band has tackled countless creative conceits from hardcore punk 7-inches to kaleidoscopic song cycles like 2006’s 30-track Yep Roc debut, Never Hear The End Of It. Commonwealth – their first all-new release in three years – is one of the more unique and ambitious recordings of their two-decade-plus career, an old-school double album with each member staking out a single side as their own artistic dominion.

Coleman Hell
Coleman Hell has crafted a genre-defying monster of a hit with his affecting single “2 Heads.”  The mesmerizing track wowed bloggers and electro-music fans after repeated plays as it passed the 13 million global streams milestone on Spotify and topped music aggregators Hype Machine and Indie Shuffle soon after its release. Anchored by his inspiring and unorthodox approach, the Thunder Bay native has forged a prolific reputation as an adventurous outlier with a diverse palate.
