Big Brains, Big Data, Big Challenges

Modern neuroscience is generating data at a staggering and rapidly increasing pace. With so much data suddenly available, the opportunity to make new discoveries about the brain, and treat brain disease, is enormous. Join Mark Daley, principal investigator at Western’s Brain and Mind Institute, as he discusses the challenges and opportunities of “big data” with examples from cutting-edge neuroscience research.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The lecture will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Please register online by Wednesday, February 5, 2014.
