Shad

Canadian hip hop artist, Shad, opens International Week 2014 with a keynote talk and performance. Born in Kenya, of Rwandan parents, Shad was raised in London, Ontario. Shad is a critically-acclaimed MC, regarded for his humour, honesty, and intelligence. His fan base graciously received his first two albums, and his third LP, TSOL, continued to pique new levels of international interest. This event is open to everyone.

International Week at Western is held annually in November as a campus-wide celebration of all things international.

The purpose of the week is to:
