When Worlds Collide: Asteroids, Comets and the Earth

From tiny grains of comet dust producing spectacular meteor storms, to asteroids blasting craters out of our crust, our planet is under constant bombardment from space. Western astronomer Margaret Campbell-Brown discusses how to see these cosmic interlopers, what they can do, and whether we'll have advance notice about the next big one.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The lecture will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Please register online by Wednesday, March 19, 2014.
