Don Wright Faculty of Music professors Jana Starling and Marie Johnson at Western University would like to invite clarinetists of all ages and levels for a day of masterclasses & lessons, clinics for various levels, participant in a clarinet choir, recitals, and experience instruments, accessories, music and reeds from Taplin-Weir and Long & McQuade. The guest artist is world-renowned Canadian clarinetist James Campbell, Professor of Music (Clarinet) at the Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University. Fee: PLEASE NOTE: The $25 fee to participate in Clarinet Day includes admission to the Clarinet Day Opening Recital on Friday, February 26 at 8 p.m. in von Kuster Hall, Music Building, Western University.This concert, featuring James Campbell and Western's own pianist Stephan Sylvestre, is also open to non-Clarinet Day participants, with a $10 admission fee payable (in cash only) at the door for the public. Advance ticket sales are only available for Clarinet Day participants. NOTE: This is a FREE concert for all Western University students, faculty and staff (bring your WesternONE ID card).
