About Western Founder’s Day

Founder’s Day is celebrated each year by the Western community on March 7 - the anniversary of the University’s founding in 1878.

It is a time for alumni, students, faculty and staff - wherever they are around the world - to reconnect and share in a celebration of everything #purpleandproud.
