There is no cost to attend this complimentary event, and the coffee and treats are on us. Students are requested to register online by Monday, October 6th.

Keith Gibbons BA'75, BEd'76: Retired teacher and textbook author
Keith Gibbons retired in January 2014 after 35 years of teaching science for London District Catholic School Board (15 years as Science Department Head). During his teaching career he was a football and track and field coach at both Catholic Central and Regina Mundi Catholic College. Keith is a science textbook author and editor for McGraw Hill Ryerson, having authored or co-authored over 30 science textbooks and/or science curriculum materials. Keith is a former Science Curriculum Coordinator for the Science Teachers' Association of Ontario and Board Secretary for Dale Brain Injury Services and Board member for over 25 years.

Philip Jones BA'95, Dip'96, CPA, CA: Chief Financial Officer, Mundo Media
Philip Jones graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Western University in 1995 and also completed a diploma in Honours Standing (Economics) in 1996. Following graduation from Western, Philip embarked on a career in the business assurance practice with Coopers & Lybrand (now Pricewaterhouse Coopers) working out of the Toronto Metro North office. Upon obtaining his Chartered Accountant designation in 1999, Philip left the world of public accounting to begin a career in the finance department of Magna International, one of the largest Tier 1 autoparts manufacturers in the world. The training and opportunities gained while working at PwC and Magna, accompanied by a degree from Western and a CA designation, have led Philip on career path through a variety of industries such as manufacturing, advertising and technology/software, and senior levels of management, with the last 7 years being at the CFO level of multi-national organizations.

Since 2009, Philip has been the CFO of Mundo Media Ltd., an online performance marketing network and mobile content marketer. Philip joined Mundo in its first year of operations and has seen the company grow to over 200 employees in 6 offices in 5 countries. As the CFO, Philip is responsible for all the financial activity and reporting of the company. Working with bankers, investors, shareholders and all levels of internal management, Philip ensures the company has the financial resources needed to achieve company goals and growth objectives through organic and acquisition growth while ensuring they are also compliant with any external reporting requirements.

Charles Zurbrigg BA'95, BEd'13: Environmental Manager, Lac-Mac Limited
Charles Zurbrigg, is a business owner, an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT), a volunteer, a visual artist and a musician. He received a B.A. in Psychology from the Western University in 1995 and started his career working at his London, Ontario-based family business, Lac-Mac Limited. After 16 years, he structured a gradual departure from his roles within the company and began to pursue his other interests of teaching, music, and art. He received a B.Ed from the Faculty of Education at Western in 2013. He has volunteered his time and energies to many organizations including the Canadian Coalition for Green Health Care, The Boys & Girls Club, and the LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada) program run by the YMCA. He currently performs original material with THE BARE WAVE, The Cycle HotRods, and with CARABANTU Canada, a not-for-profit cross-cultural organization. He will be performing with CARABANTU Canada at the London Children’s Museum on Saturday, Sept. 27th as part of Doors Open London/Culture Days 2014.
