Young Winds Program 2018
|
Western Young Winds Program provides instrumental music education for students from the local and surrounding communities. This instruction is supplementary to that provided by the students' school band programs. The program focuses on small group lessons (organized by instrument family) as well as a full band experience. The primary teachers of the Young Winds program are a select group of students from the Western University instrumental music teacher program. Each of these teachers is a specialist on his or her instrument. These teachers are young, enthusiastic and excited about working with young students. All activities will serve the purpose of strengthening students’ musicianship in a safe and positive environment. The tuition fee is $65 per student, which includes staffing, materials, and administrative costs. Note: This includes a $15 non-refundable registration fee. When registering, please input the student's name in the registrant fields and parent/guadrian emergency contact number in the 'phone number' field. For questions concerning this program, please contact Kevin Watson (kwatso54@uwo.ca) If you require this information in an alternate format or if any other arrangements can make this program accessible to you, please contact music@uwo.ca |
