The 2015 Hungry For Change Gala is a semi-formal dinner that raises awareness about important global health issues. This year’s theme is Access to Medicine: Local, National, and Global.  The evening will feature keynote speaker, Prof. Anne Snowdon, on this subject.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a cocktail hour with a cash bar and live music. Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. sharp. Throughout the evening there will be a silent auction and a photo auction. (Payment by cash or cheque for auction items is greatly appreciated).

Where are the proceeds going?

Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards the Global Health Funding Committee, which funds scholarships that help medicals students who go to resource-poor regions for clinical electives.  The gala also hopes to gather awareness and support for other non-profit global health initiatives.
