Current students are invited to stop by The Wave, grab a coffee and engage in some casual career conversation with guest alumni networkers. This is the perfect place to ask questions and start making some connections!

There is no cost to attend this complimentary event, and the coffee and treats are on us. Students are requested to register online in advance.

After graduating from the Business Administration and Management program, now known as BMOS, Lorraine Stubbert began her career at Union Gas in Chatham, Ontario. She has worked at 3M Canada for the past 27 years, enjoying the diverse opportunities the company has to offer.

Lorraine’s work experience has spanned across multiple areas, including Finance, Sourcing, Logistics and Manufacturing Operations. She moved into the business realm, beginning with the position of National Account Manager at WalMart, followed by Business Manager for Scotch products, and then Sales Manager at Hardware Channel. Lorraine has worked in a variety of roles at 3M, including Business Continuity Leader, and now Sales Optimization Manager. She is a CPA, CMA and a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

Nick Forte, BA’83; BEd’84; MEd’98, Retired Teacher
Nick Forte has been teaching for 31 years, having taught in both secondary and elementary school classrooms. Along with being published in several educational magazines and local newspapers, Nick is a Council Member of the Ontario College of Teachers, having held the positions of Chair of Investigations Committee, Chair of Standards and Practice Committee, and member of the College Executive Committee

Nick is also a Parent Advisor at the Child and Parent Resource Institute (CPRI) in London. Nick has presented at a variety of functions, including the Science Teachers Association, as well as the Transition to Professional Practice seminar at Althouse College.
