In the fall of 2017, Lainey Lui spent most of her week sitting
in her usual position on the couch of CTV’s “The Social” … but
each Friday, she stepped away from the daytime talk series and into the
role of visiting professor as she instructed the capstone course for
the School for Advanced Studies in the
Arts and Humanities here at Western.
On the evening of Friday, April 6th
join Visiting Professor Lainey Lui and the students from her "Rumour Has It"
course for the premiere of their short film and get the latest scoop on Arts and
Humanities.
About our
Guest: Television Personality, reporter, and infotainer Lainey Lui - a graduate
of Western’s Arts and Humanities! - is a reporter for CTV's etalk and
co-host on CTV's daily talk series The Social. She's the author
of Listen to the Squawking Chicken: When Mother Knowns Best, What's a
Daughter to Do? A Memoir (Sort Of) (Toronto: Random House Canada,
2014). She has contributed to several not-for-profit ventures, including
working at Covenant House. She is also a self-proclaimed gossip maven.

Park in
the Talbot Lot and receive a voucher to exit at the event registration table.
