Alumni Western is pleased to partner with the Strangway Community Centre to present Seeking the conscious brain in the unconscious body: modern approaches to understanding brain injury.

This presentation will feature guest speaker Dr. Damian Cruse, Post-Doctoral Fellow of Dr. Adrian Owen of the Brain and Mind Institute at Western University. Their groundbreaking research has led to improvements in diagnosing severe brain injuries that can allow some comatose brain injury patients to communicate at a basic level.
