Join us for a special lunchtime presentation in celebration of Western University’s Founder’s Day.
"Tonsillotomes and Toothkeys: Exploring Past Medical and Dental Practices in London" Shelley McKellar, PhD, will explore the changes in medical and dental practice, through the evaluation of historical artifacts. Hear how Western University professors and London practitioners, including Drs. Alexander MacLaren, William E. Waugh, Septimus Thompson, J.W. Crane, and William Pelton Tew treated patients and instructed students.
As part of this fascinating lecture, medical and dental artifacts from Western University’s Medical Artifact Collection will be on display.
This presentation will be available by video conference in Room 1115, Medical Education Building, University of Windsor. Please R.S.V.P. if you plan to attend in London or Windsor.
