"Tonsillotomes and Toothkeys: Exploring Past Medical and Dental Practices in London"
Shelley McKellar, PhD, will explore the changes in medical and dental practice, through the evaluation of historical artifacts. Hear how Western University professors and London practitioners, including Drs. Alexander MacLaren, William E. Waugh, Septimus Thompson, J.W. Crane, and William Pelton Tew treated patients and instructed students.

As part of this fascinating lecture, medical and dental artifacts from Western University’s Medical Artifact Collection will be on display.
