Founder's Day in Halifax

Western alumni and friends are invited to celebrate Founder's Day at a reception in Halifax. Host Michael Milde, Dean for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, will speak about "The Once and Future University: A Look Back Over the Last 20 Years at Western." Dr. Michael Milde has been a member of Western’s Department of Philosophy for twenty years. At Western, he’s held a variety of administrative positions including the position of Associate Dean (Academic) for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Associate Vice-Provost for the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. He has been Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities since January 2011. Take advantage of this opportunity to meet fellow alumni and friends in Halifax, hear news from Western and enjoy complimentary appetizers. A cash bar will be available. It is a time for Western to remember the contributions of its founders and celebrate our students, staff, faculty and alumni and their accomplishments.
