Join us for the Leaders in Innovation Dinner - London's premier event celebrating research. The evening will include the presentation of the J. Allyn Taylor International Prize in Medicine - one of Canada's most prestigious research awards - and will celebrate research advancements in the area of chronic lung disease.

Dinner guests will enjoy a keynote presentation and engaging armchair discussion with award-winning actor and director Alan Alda. Alan Alda has enjoyed a 40-year career portraying some of the most memorable characters in television and film. When not garnering accolades for his roles in front of and behind the camera, he spent 11 years hosting Scientific American Frontiers on PBS.

A recipient of the National Science Board’s Public Service Award, Alan Alda is a visiting professor and a founding member of Stony Brook University’s Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science, where he develops innovative programs on how scientists communicate to the public. Join him on November 10 as he discusses his life, career and passion for communicating science.

Heather Hiscox MA'87, LLD'11, Anchor, CBC News Network will once again be Master of Ceremonies.
