An evening of art with Western Engineering
Western Engineering Dean Andrew Hrymak and Jonathon Bancroft-Snell, gallery owner, hosted over 60 Western Engineering alumni and friends at the Jonathon Bancroft-Snell art gallery on March 3, 2011 for a special exhibition titled Tri-Fuel: Exploring Choice.
Michael Andrade, BESc '86 and his spouse Sandra Andrade, BA '87, have established the Andrade Family Awards in Engineering, valued at $2,000 each for five years.
Dr. Clement W. Bowman (friend) has established an endowment fund to create the Dr. Clement W. Bowman Award for Energy Innovation, valued at $2,000.
C. Buck, BESc '00, has established a five year award valued at
TD Friends of the Environment Foundation has generously donated $35,000 to establish a 'bio-dynamic garden' next to the Claudette MacKay-Lassonde Pavilion.
The Hugh Peacock Endowment Fund is currently valued at
$50,350. To date, 19 alumni and friends have made gifts in honour of Dr.
Peacock. Recent donors include Ken Philbrook, BESc '72, Dave Bradshaw, BESc '86, William
