Founder's Day in Windsor: Canadian Club Heritage Centre Tour
|
Celebrate your shared connection to Western with fellow alumni at a Founder’s Day Tour of the Canadian Club Brand Heritage Centre. Join fellow alumni and friends as we journey back in history to the height of the Hiram Walker family’s success. Guests will also be invited to Hiram’s Sampling Room, a Canadian art gallery and into the theatre to watch a short video about the production of Canadian Club. The tour finishes with a formal whisky tasting. Registration is $10 per person.
Founder’s Day is celebrated annually by the Western community on March 7. It is a time for Western to remember the contributions of its founders and celebrate our students, staff, faculty and alumni and their accomplishments. One of Canada’s oldest universities, Western was founded on March 7, 1878 when the charter was proclaimed. To commemorate this day, members of the Alumni Association have developed a grassroots initiative to promote Founder’s Day. Join Founder's Day on Social Media
