Registration is $20.00 per person (a savings of $5 per ticket) which includes your ticket and refreshments. Please register online by Friday, February 1, 2013. Tickets will be distributed at our Western Alumni Table at the Imperial Theatre on event day beginning at 7:00 p.m. About Cosi fan Tutte Così fan Tutte is about constancy in love. And in particular the constancy of women. This is something Mozart would fret about in his own married life. He thought his wife was a flirt. His librettist, the man-about-town Lorenzo da Ponte, shared this general view about women’s constancy, rather ironically. The opera relates the story of what happens when the worldly wise Don Alfonso makes a wager with the two young soldiers, Guglielmo and Ferrando, that their intendeds will not remain faithful. This concert performance by UWOpera students of Western University is produced with minimal costumes and set. Please contact Alumni Western if you require information in an alternate format, or if any other arrangements can make this event accessible to you. |
