Founder's Day Tastings in New York
|
Western alumni and their guest(s) are invited to celebrate Western's extraordinary achievements on the occasion of Founder’s Day. Join us in “urban wine country” at City Winery -- a unique, fully functioning winery located in SoHo’s dynamic Hudson Square. Guests will enjoy delicious appetizers, and an unlimited pouring of a selection of white and red wines and craft beers in a relaxed laid-back atmosphere. Cost is $50 per person. Sorry, no refunds. Founder’s Day is celebrated annually by the Western community on March 7. It is a time for Western to remember the contributions of its founders and celebrate our students, staff, faculty and alumni and their accomplishments. One of Canada’s oldest universities, Western was founded on March 7, 1878 when the UWO Act was proclaimed. To commemorate this day, members of the Alumni Association have developed a grassroots initiative to promote Founder’s Day. Please contact Alumni Western if you require information in an alternate format or if any other arrangements can make this event accessible to you. Join Founder's Day on Social Media
