Dive into the facts vs. fiction of evidence-based medicine with a stellar panel of clinicians and researchers focusing on pseudoscience and its effect on human health. 

Dr. Jennifer Gunter, Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident Alumna, physician, blogger and self-described defender of evidence based medicine;
Dr. Marina Salvadori, Paediatric Infectious Disease, Department of Paediatrics, Schulich Medicine & Dentistry;
Mark Speechley, PhD, Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Schulich Interfaculty Program in Public Health, Schulich Medicine & Dentistry;
Dr. Saverio Stranges, Chair, Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Schulich Medicine & Dentistry.

Panelists will explore the role of scientists and medical professionals in crusading against 'alternative facts' and the rise of pseudoscience. Following the panel discussion the audience is invited to take part in a question and answer period moderated by Dr. Michael Strong, Dean, Schulich Medicine & Dentistry.
