Celebrate Founder's Day at a reception jointly hosted by Western University and the Canada-United Kingdom Chamber of Commerce.

The guest speaker will be Western's President, Amit Chakma, addressing the topic, "Canada's new international education strategy and its implications for business."

Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate Western's extraordinary achievements on the occasion of our 135th anniversary.

There is no fee to attend, but please R.S.V.P. by Sunday, March 3, 2013. Please use the side entrance. Photo ID will be required.

Founder’s Day is celebrated annually by the Western community on March 7. It is a time for Western to remember the contributions of its founders and celebrate our students, staff, faculty and alumni and their accomplishments. One of Canada’s oldest universities, Western was founded on March 7, 1878 when the UWO Act was proclaimed. To commemorate this day, members of the Alumni Association have developed a grassroots initiative to promote Founder’s Day.
