Join Dr. Angela Schneider, Director, International Centre for Olympic Studies and 1984 Olympic Silver Medalist as she chats with Alex Kopacz, 2018 Winter Olympic Champion, about the trials and tribulations of being an Olympian and his efforts to prepare athletes for this year's Winter Games! Alex has been coaching athletes in Canada and South Korea as they get ready to compete in bobsled at the Beijing Winter Olympics. Find out how the pandemic has affected their training and what adjustments they have made to reach their potential at the upcoming games. Alex Kopacz, BESc’13, BSc’19, is a Canadian bobsledder and the reigning Olympic co-champion in the two-man bobsleigh event. He competed at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.
