Please join fellow alumni, current team members, friends and family of the Western Rowing program for the 9th Annual Rowing Gala Dinner on March 2, 2013, for an evening of fun and camaraderie. This year's Gala starting at 5:00 p.m. in the Great Hall, Somerville House, will feature a silent auction, games prizes, live music and dinner.

The guest speaker for the evening will be seven-time Olympian Lesley-Thompson Willie BA'82 BEd'83.  Lesley started rowing at Western and has since collected an impressive list of international titles, including multiple world championships in the coxed eight, Olympic medals including gold in Barcelona (1992) and her most recent accomplishment of earning a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the W8+.

For alumni who would like to catch up with friends and old teammates, a reception starting at 3:30 p.m. has been organized at The Spoke, 1st floor, University Community Centre.

Discounted rooms have also been arranged at Station Park Inn for alumni, friends and family who are attending the event. When booking, please mention the Western Rowing Gala.

Parking is complimentary in the Weldon Lot.

Tickets are $100.00 for alumni, parents and friends and $75.00 for current students with student ID in advance only. A table of twelve can be purchased for $1,050.00. 

Register online by Sunday, February 24, 2013. Those who purchase tickets before February 10^th will be entered in a draw to win a prize! Students may also purchase tickets through Natasha Caminsky.
