Hearing is crucial to everyday life enabling us to engage in conversations and form social connections which are integral to mental health. It also allows us to communicate, interact and understand others through speech. Explore the essentials of hearing conservation including risks and assessments to care for your hearing health. You will learn:
  • To identify noise risks
  • The best hearing protection for your needs

Speaker bio: Jack M. Scott is an Assistant Professor in the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Western University. Additionally, he holds the role of Clinical Supervisor in Audiology at the H.A. Leeper Speech and Hearing Clinic and possesses a Certificate in Tinnitus Management. Jack also serves as an Investigator at the National Centre for Audiology, a national centre of excellence and leadership in audiological education, research and professional service.
