Whether you are new to the art of scotch sampling or a connoisseur, you will be sure to learn something new at this event! Each guest will enjoy appetizers, chocolate and four scotch samples. This event will be a great opportunity to celebrate Western's extraordinary achievements on the occasion of our 135th anniversary. Registration is $25 per person and includes all taxes and gratuities. Please register online by Monday, March 4, 2013. Sorry, no refunds. Founder’s Day is celebrated annually by the Western community on March 7. It is a time for Western to remember the contributions of its founders and celebrate our students, staff, faculty and alumni and their accomplishments. One of Canada’s oldest universities, Western was founded on March 7, 1878 when the UWO Act was proclaimed. To commemorate this day, members of the Alumni Association have developed a grassroots initiative to promote Founder’s Day. Join Founder's Day on Social Media
