Founder's Day Celebration at the Hockey Hall of Fame

Join fellow alumni and friends for a Founder's Day celebration in Toronto. Enjoy the interactive exhibits and attractions of the Hockey Hall of Fame while commemorating Western's founding in 1878, 140 years ago. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Lisa Fischer, a leader in the clinical care of athletes with sport concussion, speaking on the topic, "7 Things About Concussion." Dr. Fischer is Director, Primary Care Sport Medicine at the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic and Assistant Professor in the Departments of Family Medicine and the Faculty of Health Sciences at Western. We will also be joined by Eric Lindros, retired NHL great, Hockey Hall of Fame Inductee and former Canadian National Hockey Team member. Lindros has worked tirelessly to raise awareness for concussion research at Western. The talk will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the TSN Theatre. Appetizers and refreshments will be provided, along with one complimentary beer or wine per person. A cash bar will also be available. Registration is $15 per person.
