Connecting for Climate Change Action is an award-winning course that braids together Indigenous knowledge and Eurowestern science to educate and motivate action on climate change.

In this free, open course, offered through Coursera, learners will build an understanding of the science behind climate change and develop a profound understanding of our responsibilities and relationship with land and one another.

  • Ways of knowing that climate is changing.
  • The earth, climate and connections.
  • Why is the earth's climate changing?


What to expect:

  • This open course is comprised of 7 modules over 12 weeks. 
  • Expect to spend 2-3 hours each week. 
  • Each module includes readings, videos, activities and interactive, a reflection or discussion and quiz.
