Climate change is here. Evidenced by unprecedented drought, flooding, extreme heat and wildfires, it is the defining challenge of our times and can leave many of us feeling helpless.
 
The creators of the award-winning Connecting for Climate Change Action course will discuss their vision for climate change education and mitigation in this insightful online panel discussion.

Beth Hundey, Katrina Moser, Sara Mai Chitty, Serena Mendizábal (left to right).


Sara Mai Chitty is a storyteller, educator, Michi Sagig Anishinaabekwe and a member of Alderville First Nation. Sara Mai is a Curriculum and Pedagogy Advisor at the Office of Indigenous Initiatives.
 
Beth Hundey, a settler and ally, is a curriculum specialist and an assistant professor in the department of geography & environment. Beth has expertise as an environmental change researcher and specialist in online education. Beth is committted to bringing together diverse voices for climate justice and action.
 
Serena Mendizábel is a Cayuga Panamanian Wolf clan woman from the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory wtih a master's degree in geography & environment at Western. Serena is a community-based researcher and organizer driven by Indigenous governance and just, clean energy futures.
 
Katrina Moser is a settler and professor in the department of geography & environment. Her research focuses on climate and environmental change.
