Celebrate Founder's Day at Canada's national museum of nature and natural history. Join fellow alumni and friends to experience the history and enjoy the elegance of the 100-year-old museum building. Our guest speaker will be Margaret Beckel, MBA’86, Director and CEO of the Canadian Museum of Nature. Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate Western's extraordinary achievements on the occasion of our 135th anniversary. Guests will enjoy delicious appetizers and complimentary soft drinks. A cash bar will be available. Our event will take place in the East Wing Foyer. There is no fee to attend, but please R.S.V.P. by Sunday, March 3, 2013. Founder’s Day is celebrated annually by the Western community on March 7. It is a time for Western to remember the contributions of its founders and celebrate our students, staff, faculty and alumni and their accomplishments. One of Canada’s oldest universities, Western was founded on March 7, 1878 when the UWO Act was proclaimed. To commemorate this day, members of the Alumni Association have developed a grassroots initiative to promote Founder’s Day. Join Founder's Day on Social Media
