New for 2012, we’ve added a Cocktails & Conversation, which takes place on Thursday, November 1, 2012. Don't miss this unique opportunity to have cocktails and conversation with a leading thinker in the field of local government, Brock Carlton, CEO of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. 

Brock will discuss the changing role of municipalities within intergovernmental relations, and for a national perspective on the key challenges facing local governments in the future.

Tickets are limited. Appetizers will be provided and a cash bar available. 

The registration fee for Cocktails & Conversation is $50 per person.

2012 Local Government Alumni Conference

Location: Museum London, 421 Ridout Street North, London, ON

This year’s conference theme is Opening Government and Engaging Citizens.

Our agenda features a keynote address from former City of Toronto Mayor David Miller, dialogue with MassLBP Principal and Co-Founder Peter McLeod, and presentations from municipal leaders Rick O’Connor, Sean Galloway and Denise O’Connor on examples of how municipalities are embracing a new model of openness and engagement.
