Western Mustangs Gymnastics team member 1976-1981 Hilary (Mills) Marsh BA ‘80, B.Ed ’81 and Bill Rhoads BA ’80, MA (Phys Ed) are leading and co-hosting a 40 year reunion of the Mustangs Gymnastics program, targeting gymnasts from the years 1973 – 1980 when beloved coach and mentor Dr. Bonnie Bennett was leading the program.

Coach Bennett has recently retired and moved to Florida, USA, and Hilary and Bill are inviting team members to this special reunion weekend in the area. Already over 20 teammates have confirmed attendance and are planning their vacations in the area in order to take part in the reunion! Group Rates have been established at the Hyatt Place Daytona Beach Oceanfront, Florida.

The reunion weekend itinerary includes:

Saturday April 29^th

• Reunion Weekend “Meet & Greet” – social room in the condominium of host Hilary (Mills) Marsh
• Beach Walk
• Social Line Dance Activity
• Happy Hour at Crabby's Pier
• Supper at Our Deck Down Under on the Inter Coastal Waterway.

Sunday April 30^th

• Brunch on the Pier
• Visit to Ponce Inlet Jetty area and lighthouse/museum tour 
• Optional activities such as pickleball lessons and barre classes by Bonnie Bennett
• Yoga on the beach by a local instructor.
• Supper and informal dancing at Racings North Turn.
