Remarks by Dr. Deakin and Professor David Merritt, Department of Visual Arts, will start at 2:30 p.m., followed by an artist-led tour of the exhibition Kim Moodie: Any Dream Will Do. Light refreshments will be provided. Complimentary parking will be available in the Kent Drive lot.

Professor Moodie received an Honours B.A. in Visual Arts from Western in 1974 and an M.F.A. from Concordia University in 1979. He has taught in the Department of Visual Arts at Western since 1980 and first exhibited at McIntosh Gallery the following year. During the ensuing decades his work has been shown at the National Gallery of Canada, Museum London, Oakville Galleries, Jessica Bradley Gallery, Art Gallery of Ontario, and Threadwaxing Gallery, New York.
