The Mustangs Wrestling Team invites alumni and friends to join them in celebrating long-time coach – Ray Takahashi in his induction into the Western Wrestling Wall of Honour. 

Ray competed for Western earning 4 OUAA and 4 CIAU titles before becoming the Head Coach of the program from 1985-2017. As a coach, he continued the legacy of the Mustangs Wrestling Team, securing 10 OUA Coach of the Year awards in both men and women and also a CIS Coach of the Year. He is the longest-serving coach of the program, impacting countless wrestlers on and off the mat. Please join us in recognizing his outstanding career and wishing him the best into his retirement. 

Tickets are $65 per person – all revenue and donations will be going towards a scholarship in Ray’s name. 

Hors D’Oeurves and light refreshments will be available. 

We will have photos and a video in honour of Ray as well as some special guest speakers.
