Terry Riley's "In C" Plein Air Homecoming Performance

 Be part of this unique celebration of music and community! Western alumni are invited to perform alongside students, faculty, staff and community members for a "plein air" performance of Terry Riley's "In C". This chance composition will see musicians performing across campus, thanks to the organization of faculty member Sharon Wei, BMus'00.
Radio Western will send out an ostinato over the airwaves to keep all musicians in sync during the 45-minute performance.
Pre-registration required for musicians who plan to perform. Due to limited space, we ask you to register early, with a deadline of Monday, September 12, 2022. Alumni will be required to bring their own instrument or voice, sheet music and music stand to the event. Your campus location will be emailed to you prior to the event.
Dean's Meet & Greet - 12:00 p.m. Event will follow COVID-19 Provincial Government and Local Health Authority (Middlesex-London Health Unit) requirements.
