This London Life at the Grand Theatre and President's Reception
|
Join us at the Grand Theatre for opening night of this world-premiere comedy that celebrates, examines, and pokes fun at the constant comparisons between our city and the other London across the ocean. Prior to the show, you are invited to join us for refreshments and meet our new President, Alan Shepard, at a pre-show reception beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Museum London. Tickets are $65 in a mix of Orchestra and Balcony seating (a 25% savings) and this includes appetizers and refreshments at the pre-show reception. The show starts at 8:00 p.m. Sorry, no refunds. The Story Set in London, Ontario, a young British man wakes up and assumes he has landed home in England. "I asked Morris (Panych) to write a play showing the absurdity of living in our city with identical street names, rivers, and markets as London, England. Expect three things: laughter, mistaken identities, and more than anything, a love letter to our beloved city of London: ‘the other one’." – Dennis Garnhum, Artistic Director Western Alumni is committed to accessibility for persons with disabilities.
