Nursing 100th Anniversary Exhibit and Reception
On February 6, 2021, alumni, faculty, students and friends gathered at a reception to celebrate the opening of an exhibition at Museum London which explored 100 Years of Nursing Education in London. This event kicked off our celebrations of 100 years of world class research and innovation in Nursing at Western.
Special guests included Jim Weese, Acting Vice-Provost & Associate Vice-President (International), Jayne Garland, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Victoria Smye, Director of the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing.
Alumni and guests browsed through the interactive exhibit that included a rich repository of artifacts and documents, multi-media displays and inspiring oral histories from a diverse group of Western nurses. You can see highlights of the exhibit in the Museum's Facebook virtual tour.
