Terry Fox Virtual Run UK

A virtual Terry Fox Run: One Day. Your Way. We will unite in spirit, not in person! The Terry Fox Run is coming back to the UK after a 13 year absence to mark the 40th anniversary of Terry Fox’s inspirational ‘Marathon of Hope’, where this 22 year old Canadian amputee averaged a marathon (26 miles) a day for 143 days in a row, on one natural leg. The UK Terry Fox Run is being organized by fellow alumni, Neil Johnson, HBA'92 and Robert Brant, BA'88. You are invited to join participants around the world for the virtual Terry Fox Run UK on Sunday, September 20, 2020 for a run, walk or bike ride to raise money for the world-class Institute of Cancer Research. One Day. Your Way. The event is free to enter, non-competitive and open to all. Join the School Spirit Challenge as alumni from Queen's, Simon Fraser and other Canadian universities will also be participating! Learn more at Terry Fox Run UK, or register online today! |
