The Dean of Science, Matt Davison invites you to join our Faculty of Science Research Talk with Associate Professor Cristian Bravo Roman, Canada Research Chair in Banking and Insurance Analytics. This session will be a 20 minute talk followed by a 10 minute Q&A.

 

This talk will present the newly created Financial Wellness Lab, a collaboration between Western, Wilfrid Laurier University, the Canadian Payroll Association, and several other leading Canadian financial companies. During the talk we will showcase how the Financial Wellness Research Lab is leveraging big data, analytics, and financial modelling to improve the Financial Wellness and Resiliency of Canadians.

 

Panelists for the Q&A will include Cristian Bravo, Dean Matt Davison and Kristina Sendova, Chair of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences Department.
