Be part of this unique celebration of music and community! Western alumni are invited to perform alongside students, faculty, staff and community members for a "plein air" performance of Terry Riley's "In C". This chance composition will see musicians performing across campus, thanks to the organization of faculty member Sharon Wei, BMus'00.

 

Radio Western will send out an ostinato over the airwaves to keep all musicians in sync during the 45-minute performance.

Pre-registration required for musicians who plan to perform. Due to limited space, we ask you to register early, with a deadline of Friday, September 16, 2022. Alumni will be required to bring their own instrument or voice, sheet music and music stand to the event. Your campus location will be emailed to you prior to the event.

Dean's Meet & Greet - 12:00 p.m.
Following the performance, join us at the University College Tent to meet Dean Michael Kim and mingle with faculty, students, and fellow alumni.

As part of our Take Care campus culture, Western remains a mask friendly environment – masks are not mandatory, but visitors may choose to wear one at any time. Alumni and guests attending Homecoming events are not required to show proof of vaccination. Please note that when in classrooms or instructional spaces, masks are required.
