Science BBQ with Rick McGhie

Reconnect with your science classmates, meet Matt Davison, Dean of Science and enjoy the music of campus icon Rick McGhie at this popular annual event. Alumni, faculty, students, friends and family are all welcome. Tickets are $10 per person, $5 for children ages two to 12 and children under two are free. Tickets can be purchased online or paid in cash at the door and include a BBQ lunch and soft drinks. Vegetarian meal options are available. Rain or shine! Indoor and outdoor facilities are available.After the BBQ everyone is welcome to join Dr. Jamie Noel and Dr. Robert Hudson for a tour of the Chemistry building.
Complimentary parking is available in the Middlesex Lot.
As part of our Take Care campus culture, Western remains a mask friendly environment – masks are not mandatory, but visitors may choose to wear one at any time.
