Sheila Heti presents the Annual Alice Munro Lecture
The Faculty of Arts & Humanities is honoured to present Sheila Heti, Western's current Alice Munro Chair in Creativity, for the 2024 Alice Munro Lecture, held on April 3, 2024. This event takes place in person at Wolf Hall, at the Central Library. This event will be recorded.
Sheila Heti will be discussing the tension between freedom and boundaries in the creative process.
Following Sheila's lecture, we plan for a reception and book signing to take place. Program All registrants will receive a link to the recording. Please indicate if you will attend in-person. Advance registration is appreciated by April 1, 2024. The lecture will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Getting to Wolf Hall Please allow sufficient time to navigate downtown traffic and roadworks. The central library is well-served by numerous bus routes and well-maintained sidewalks. Underground parking is available at Citi Plaza with entrances to the north parking garage off King St, east of Clarence St. and Wellington St, south of Dundas St. Parking validation is available for 2 hours only.
