Western Engineering Concrete Canoe Association (WECCA)

The Western Engineering Concrete Canoe Association (WECCA), founded in 2007 is a multi-disciplinary club focused on pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Each year, the team designs a canoe mould, tests different mixes of concrete, and casts a canoe. Not only does the concrete canoe float but it is raced in a nationwide competition each year as WECCA aims to place among the top teams.

Your donation will assist the team with the design and construction of a functioning concrete canoe for our annual competitions nationwide. You’re also providing engineering students the opportunity to gain technical skills and to become innovators.
