PARKING

Complimentary visitor parking is available in the D.B. Weldon and Alumni/Thompson lots for registered guests attending the Installation ceremony and Reception. [MAP] Upon arrival to the lot, you will be required to take a ticket from the dispenser in order to lift the entrance gate. Once parked, proceed to Alumni Hall to the registration desk located in the lobby and ask for a pre-paid parking pass. Upon departure from the lot, insert the ticket at the exit device and scan the parking pass QR code to exit. Limited barrier-free (accessible) parking is available in all campus lots.

As parking is limited, we ask that Western students, staff, and faculty remain parked at their usual spots on campus and make their way to the activities on foot.

REGISTRATION

The registration desk, located in the lobby of Alumni Hall, will open at 3:00 p.m. Please plan to arrive early. Doors open at 3:00 p.m. Your complimentary parking passes (if applicable) can be picked up at the registration desk.

DIRECTIONS

From East (Toronto)

Travel Highway 401 West to London. Exit #189, Highbury Avenue North through the city. Turn west (left) at Oxford Drive (a few minutes north of Dundas).

• To enter the East Gates (Richmond St. Gates): Turn north (right) at Richmond Street and continue travelling north to the set of lights at the University Gates. Turn west (left) through the gates onto University Drive. Please refer to the campus map for parking locations.
• To enter the West Gates (Lambton Dr. Gates): Continue west on Oxford Drive past Richmond Street. Turn north (right) on Wharncliffe Road - this road will turn into Western Road. Turn east (right) through the gates at Lambton Drive. Please refer to the campus map for parking locations.

From West (Windsor)

Travel Highway 401 East to London. Exit #183, Highway 402. Take the Exit to Wonderland Road North to the north end of the city. Turn east (right) on Oxford Drive (a few minutes north of Riverside Drive).

• To enter the West Gates: Turn north (left) on Wharncliffe Road - this road will turn into Western Road. Turn east (right) through the gates at Lambton Drive. Please refer to campus map for parking locations.
• To enter the East Gates: Continue east on Oxford Drive past Wharncliffe Road. Turn north (left) at Richmond Street and continue travelling north to the set of lights at the University Gates. Turn west (left) through the gates onto University Drive. Please refer to the campus map for parking locations.

From North

Travel Highway 4 south past Fanshawe Park Road where it becomes Richmond Street.

• To enter the East Gates: Follow Richmond Street south until University Drive. Turn west (right) through the University Gates. Please refer to the campus map for parking locations.
• To enter the West Gates: Follow Richmond Street south until Western Road which forks from Richmond. Turn east (left) at Lambton Road through the University Gates. Please refer to the campus map for parking locations.

For the convenience of out-of-town guests, the following hotel is located close to the University. Guests are responsible for making their own reservation arrangements directly with the hotel. To ensure that a room is held for you, please book your accommodation by October 4th and quote “Installation”.
